Republican candidate for governor State Senator Bill Brady and his running mate Maria Rodriguez talk about their plans for Springfield.

Brady is from downstate Bloomington. He was a state representative from 1993 to 2001. Brady moved to the senate in 2002.

This is his third run for governor. He won the GOP primary in 2010 but lost to Governor Pat Quinn in the general election.

Maria Rodriguez has served as Long Grove Village clerk, trustee and village president. She also ran for congress in the 8th district in 2010.
