So during our ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sunday Morning, we headed out to the Lurie Garden (www.luriegarden.org) to get tips on dividing plants and more from horticulturist Laura Ekasetya. She also talked about an upcoming plant sale.
Laura's Planting Tips:
1. Weed now. If you get ahead of weeds while they're small, they are easier to remove and you'll have an easier season this summer.
2. Dividing plants helps you fill in areas of the garden that need to look fuller without spending money.
>br>3. Consider hardy perennials that provide four season interest and are drought- and weather-tolerant.
