The school was on a "hold in place" Tuesday, officials said. Authorities from several jurisdictions responded to the scene.
School dismissed as normal at 2:55 p.m., although parents were allowed to pick up their children early if they wished.
Officials have not said what led to the altercation or how many people were involved, saying only "several students" were part of it. On social media, the school wrote, "the students involved have been identified" and "additional supervision will be at school in the morning."
No one was injured, officials said.
