Five Chicago hotels get AAA's Five Diamond rating

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Five hotels in Chicago have earned AAA Chicago's Five Diamond rating in the past 12 months, the highest rating the group can give. According to AAA, only 118 out of 28,000 hotels - or 0.4 percent - that are AAA/CAA Approved and Diamond Rated earn a Five Diamond rating.

The 2016 Five Diamond rated hotels are:

The Four Seasons Chicago

The Langham Chicago

The Peninsula Chicago

Trump International Hotel & Tower

Waldorf Astoria Chicago

There are an additional 50 Four Diamond rated hotels in Illinois and Northern Indiana; 49 of those hotels are in Illinois and the 50th is the Morris Inn in South Bend, Ind.
