Owner and Founder of the Automotive Mentoring Group, Alex Levesque, stopped by to share how he is using the restoration of cars to help fight violence in Chicago.
With over 25 years in the automotive industry, Alex Levesque was frustrated with the constant violence in Chicago. Using his passion for cars to create change, Alex founded the Automotive Mentoring Group, a nonprofit organization that uses the restoration of old cars to help young lives. AMG gives young men and women in Chicago's troubled neighborhoods the opportunity to obtain a high school or college diploma and learn the skill sets needed to enter the work force instead of falling victim to Chicago gangs.
