It's "Fat Tuesday" and tradition says it's the day to feast before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Christian time of fasting and prayer. While Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras in French) is celebrated all over the world, the best-known festival is held in New Orleans.

While you may not be able to party in the French Quarter this year, the good times are rolling at area restaurants including Bluegrass in Highland Park. The popular suburban restaurant is featuring a special "Fat Tuesday" menu. Chef David Teichman shares of his favorite Cajun dishes so you can bring a taste of New Orleans to your home.
