Lt. General Julius W. Becton has been a well-recognized and highly respected voice in articulating the needs of the U.S. Army, its soldiers and their families during these complex and sometimes confusing times. Gen. Becton, who answered the call to duty and led our troops in three wars-World War II, Korea and Vietnam-is a nationally known leader, performing his many and varied duties with unique dedication and tenacity under extraordinary circumstances.
