The key to happiness may be in your genes.

A new study suggests some people are born with a "happiness gene." British and Australian researchers looked at 900 pairs of identical and non-identical twins. They found genes control half the personality traits that make people happy.

Factors such as relationships, health and careers are responsible for the rest of our well-being. Researchers says the findings may help to better understand depression.
