Cubs fans may help foot the bill for renovating Wrigley Field. The team is considering a plan to put a tax on tickets.

Tuesday's Chicago Sun-Times reports the tax would range from 25 to 50 cents. It would be one source of revenue generated to pay for the renovation.

The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority is expected to make an offer to the Tribune Company for the landmark ballpark as early as this week.
