The queen for the coming weekend's St. Patrick's Day parade and her court were also at the reception. A number of people received certificates of appreciation for their contributions.
The St. Patrick's Day parade is set for Saturday and will be broadcast live on ABC7 Chicago from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
