State's attorney's son cited for pot

NAPERVILLE Twenty-one-year-old Nicholas Birkett and two other men received local ordinance violations Sunday night at an apartment in Naperville.

Police say they found drug paraphernalia and a bag containing less than 30 grams of marijuana.

A spokesperson for Birkett's office says he's disappointed with the event and will be focusing on his wife and children.
