Casino fined for sending mailer to banned gamblers

AURORA The penalty was handed out Monday by the Illinois Gaming Board.

Three of the casino managers were also suspended.

The board said in January a promotional mailing from the casino was sent to 146 people who had asked to be banned from Illinois casinos because of gambling problems.

So far, there has been no response from the casino.
