A search was called off Sunday for a young man who went missing in the Fox River.Authorities were conducting their search near downtown Oswego, which is approximately 45 miles southwest of Chicago.

Witnesses say five teenagers were playing in the river when one of them was possibly swept away by a strong current. Rescue crews set up a command post near Washington Street.

Fire departments from neighboring towns also helped with the search. It was expected to resume Monday morning.
