Xbox to reportedly cut price

For the second time in as many weeks, there are reports the company will soon slash the price for the game console by $50.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes anonymous sources that claim the price for the 20-gigabyte version of the gaming console will be reduced to $299 as soon as July 15.

Microsoft has not commented on the reports.

A price cut would follow similar moves in Europe and Asia.
