IPRA investigates 2 officer involved shootings

Chicago's Independent Police Review Authority is investigating two officer involved shootings over the holiday weekend. One of them resulted in a fatality. The latest happened early Sunday morning in the 6100 block of South Kedzie.Officers say they were confronted by a man armed with a gun and an exchange of gunfire followed. The suspect was shot and later died at the hospital. No officers were hurt.

On Friday night, an 18-year-old man was wounded by Chicago Police after he allegedly pointed a gun at an officer during a foot chase. The suspect is charged with aggravated assault.
