Holsti reflected on the most difficult part of being in Iraq.
"I had a lot of losses, family losses while I was out there," said Timothy Holsti, Navy intelligence specialist. "My brother joined the Army, I wasn't there for him, I didn't get to be there for his graduation. Just being away from my family, it was kinda, kinda rough."
"My son's home, he's healthy, he's safe. I wish every parent had that blessing. I'm just glad he's home," said Kris Holsti, mother.
Holsti says he might return to Iraq in a year to try to finish the work he began.
