The company that controls the rock icon's musical catalog is providing Hendrix's music and likeness for the latest Guitar Hero video game.
This is the first time Hendrix will be showcased in the game.
The song "The Wind Cries Mary" and a live version of "Purple Haze" will be included on Guitar Hero World Tour, which is the fourth version of the popular game franchise. It is scheduled for release on October 27.
