Anti-depressants can interfere with sex drive and performance which causes many people to stop taking them.
An eight-week experiment looked at 98 women who were successfully on antidepressants but who were also having sexual side effects.
Seventy-two percent of the women taking Viagra reported improvement on an overall scale, while only 27 percent of the women taking a placebo reported improvement.
Some of the women did however experience headaches, flushing and indigestion.
