Fruit flies delayed some flights at Chicago's O'Hare Airport Friday.The company Gate Gourmet caters food for United Airlines and other carriers. On Thursday, the city's health department shut down one of its kitchens at O'Hare because inspectors found the flies there. Some flights were delayed, waiting for food from other kitchens.
The infested kitchen was closed for 24 hours until exterminators cleaned up the mess and it passed another city inspection.
