Sunday's fourth annual 'Ride to Remember was the biggest tribute ever to Chicago police officers who died in the line of duty. The riders formed a procession more than two miles long consisting of officers on motorcycles, followed by vintage squad cars from various police departments.

Hundreds of civilian motorcyclists joined the fundraising tribute, which ended at Gold Star Memorial Park. Police Supt. Jody Weis and former Supt. Phil Cline joined them at the park and presented a memorial wreath.

Cline now heads the organization that sponsors the event, the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
