Investigators are trying to figure out who placed bullets around DePaul University's campus in Chicago's Lincoln Park community. The ammunition was found in the 2000-block of North Kenmore. University officials say the bullets were left on car windshields.

A witness says police said they were .22 caliber bullets.

Authorities have determined there was no threat to the campus but the security patrols were beefed up as a precaution.
