Report: Rezko sentencing delayed

CHICAGO A newspaper said the judge in the case is giving Rezko's lawyers more time to file post-trial motions.

Rezko was supposed to be sentenced on September 3, but instead will appear in court on October 28.

Rezko, a former top aide to Governor Rod Blagojevich, was convicted of fraud, bribery and money laundering in June.

Blagojevich has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
