Two people were injured in the accident and were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. They were trapped in the office section of the building following the crash, with rescuers having to vreak windows to free them.
The taxicab driver has been cited for driving an unsafe vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
