Investigators say he attempted to abduct a woman as she walked near bell elementary school in the Roscoe Village neighborhood. She screamed and the man ran away as several people came to help her.
There was a community meeting at the Bell school Thursday to clear-up a lot of misinformation.
"In my 22-years as a principal I've learned that if you leave a vacuum, somebody will fill it. And it's often filled with incorrect information. So we thought it was really important to come together this morning," said Bob Guerico, Bell Elementary School principal.
Investigators emphasize they are looking for one suspect in connection with this case.
