School-funding protest set for Wrigley Field

CHICAGO Meeks and his supporters plan to have children and parents hold hands and help circle the stadium next Wednesday night. That's when the Cubs play their first playoff game.

Meeks says this won't be their last protest.

"We will continue to do protests like this until we get results," said State Sen. Rev. James Meeks, (I) Chicago.

Chicago police are concerned that bringing protesters to Wrigley Field next Wednesday will increase crowd control problems.
