City may vote on Midway plan Wednesday

Chicago's aviation committee approved the plan Tuesday afternoon. The Chicago City Council Finance Committee also signed off on the deal despite concerns over parking and concession prices.

A group called the Midway Investment And Development Company put up $2-and-a-half billion to lease and run Midway for the next 99 years.

The city will assume the $10-million a year cost for police and fire protection.

The full council could vote Wednesday.
