Researchers find corn in all fast food

Scientists uncovered signs of corn in food items from Wendy's, McDonald's and Burger King.

A report in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences reveals that corn is not just a grain in the production of fast food it is the basis of all fast food.

Experts say the heavy use of corn in the US food supply has been linked with obesity related to the availability of cheap, low nutrient food. They say the findings may not be very surprising; corn and its byproducts including the controversial high fructose corn syrup are such a big part of the American diet.
