Hit-and-run driver sought in woman's death

STONE PARK Police say 18-year-old Galissa Brown was walking with another woman near the intersection of Mannheim and Lake Street when a car traveling westbound on Lake hit the women.

The driver did not stop. Brown died.

The other woman was taken to an area hospital but is expected to recover.

According to police, the vehicle being sought is possibly a blue older model Chevrolet Caprice.
