Potato Latkes

4 ea large potatoes; peeled
1 ea large onion; peeled
2 ea eggs; beaten
to taste salt and pepper
½ cup matzah meal
canola oil for frying

Warm non-stick sauté pan over medium heat and fill the canola oil to 1/2" depth.

Using the large holes on a hand grated, grate the onion and potato into a bowl.

Transfer to a colander and allow to drain for a couple of minutes without squeezing. Transfer back to the bowl, add the eggs and salt and pepper. Incorporate matzah meal with hands. Form small balls by hand and place in the oil. Cook to golden brown on one side, flip and repeat. Remove to paper toweling to drain and repeat process until all of the latke mixture is finished.

Lockwood also features its popular a la carte menu on Christmas Eve, on New Years Eve (5 pm to 8 pm) and on New Years Day (5 pm to close). The New Years Day Buffet will offer a variety of dishes featuring upscale contemporary cuisine, which take inspiration from the flavors of the holiday season.

Lockwood will feature its a la carte menu on New Years Eve, December 31, from 5 pm to 8 pm and on New Years Day, January 1, from 5 pm to close

Lockwood is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday through Saturday. All major credit cards are accepted.
