Police say Smith picked up the car seat holding her four-month-old daughter and threw it into a wall, then picked up the seat and shook it vigorously.
Police say Smith also hit her seven-year-old daughter numerous times with a hanger.

Rosemary Smith, 31, has been charged with endangering the life of a child and domestic battery. The incident occurred Friday when Smith was having a verbal altercation with her child's father.
