School was canceled for some students on the city's South Side because of an apparent flu outbreak. St. John Fisher School was closed after hundreds of students came down with the flu.

Cleaning crews spent Friday disinfecting classrooms and equipment with bleach. More than 200 of the school's roughly 700 students have called in sick every day this week. So rather than teach to classrooms that are half full, administrators decided to close on Friday.

The school will reopen on Tuesday after President's Day.
