School custodian moonlights as stunt man

March 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) Sorenson has been in two dozen films. His credits include "The Dark Knight," which was recently filmed in Chicago.

"I was one of the cronies on the back of a semi truck and we had clown masks on and that and crashing through all the cars and that it was incredible," said Sorensen. "That's what you live for the action. It was great."

The stunt performers from "The Dark Knight" were recently honored by the Screen Actors Guild.

"It was great. It was great to be nominated with all the other stunt guys for best stunt ensemble for Dark Knight. It truly was a great film of stunts. All the stunts guys that worked on it did an incredible job. When you see the film you can see why it won this award," said Sorensen.

Sorensen, 42, is married with two children. He and his family live in Aurora.

"There's always a lot more to do. I'm always looking for the next film, the next TV show, and that. I'm working at it. There's always something more and something better. I'm still looking for it," said Sorensen. "I've come a long way. I've been in the business for awhile. I'm doing OK."
