An Olympic Event: A look at City Night

April 6, 2009 (CHICAGO) More than 150 guests- including Oprah Winfrey, Mayor Richard Daley and White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett- will attend 'City Night' at The Art Institute of Chicago.

'City Night' is the highlight event held in honor of the International Olympics Committee's evaluation team, which has been touring Chicago since last week. They will be entertained by Chicago greats Koko Taylor and Buddy Guy, Andrew Bird, and the Chicago Children's Choir.

The meal is created by Tony Mantuano, chef and partner at Spiaggia, where President Obama and his wife, Michelle, celebrated their anniversary in October. The four-course meal includes local ingredients. Full Menu

City Night is being held in the Art Institute's new Modern Wing, which will open to the public on May 16.

Mayor Daley and Chicago 2016 CEO Patrick Ryan will speak at City Night.
