Bedtime routine can enhance mood

May 6, 2009 The study in this month's issue of the journal Sleep looked at infants and toddlers who had a regular bed time for two weeks.

Those children were less fatigued, less tense and less depressed.

Researchers say a regular bedtime routine also helped benefited mother's moods.

Now doctors want to know if a specific aspect of the bedtime routine is more effective or if the routine itself calms children's sleep problems.
