The Southside and Northside rivalry heats up as Four Seasons Hotel Executive Chef Kevin Hickey – serving up for the White Sox – and Cubs Fan Chef Giuseppe Tentori of Boka (www.bokachicago.com) attempt to put their personal spins on ballpark snacks. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a Ballpark Reception showcasing fine dining versions of fan favorites including Kobe Beef Hot Dogs, Lobster Corn Dogs with Caviar Ravioli and Braised Goat Sliders with Moroccan Barbecue Sauce.
At 7 p.m., watch the kitchen active live broadcast by ABC 7 Sports Anchor Jim Rose on flat screen televisions throughout the Seasons restaurant as Hickey and Tentori serve up a culinary field of dreams. The evening culminates with the Bleacher Sweets Reception featuring "Caramel Corn" "Funnel Cakes" and "Champagne and Beer Floats" and more of America's favorite pastime's treats.
A silent auction will feature autographed Cubs and White Sox memorabilia, culinary experiences and baseball-themed getaways to destinations such as Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C and Boston in partnership with American Airlines.
Tickets are $200 for the four-course dinner. Price include gratuity. For reservations, please call Common Threads at 312 329 2501 ext. 204 or visit www.commonthreads.org.
