Precious is based on the novel Push by Sapphire. It's about a 16-year-old African-American girl who's faced with the challenges of being a teen mother, living with an abusive mother.
The movie also stars Mariah Carey, Mo'nique and Sherri Shepherd.
Oprah Winfrey is one of the movie's executive producers.
