The Tri-State was going to be closed again Tuesday for a brief time so that crews could replace the downed wires but that work has been postponed for now.
Traffic moving on I-294 after lane closures
November 3, 2009 Around 8:30 a.m., a construction crane brought down power lines near West Lake Avenue. As a result, all traffic was stalled until power was shut off and the lines were removed.
