3 toys inducted into Hall of Fame

November 3, 2009 The Big Wheel was introduced in 1969 and was an instant favorite.

Also inducted is Nintendo's Game Boy. The portable video gaming system came out in 1989.

And the ball now has a place in the Toy Hall of Fame. After all these years that playground favorite has earned induction.

To get into the hall of fame a toy must have longevity, foster learning, creativity or discovery through play.
