Aon Center earns Energy Star rating from EPA

Chicago's Aon Center on East Randolph has earned the Energy Star by the Environmental Protection Agency.The Aon Center is the tallest building to ever earn the Energy Star rating.

The EPA is celebrating a decade of energy efficient commercial buildings.

Since 1999, Energy Star partners have helped prevent nearly 120-million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

This is equal to the annual electricity use of more than 60-million American homes.
