Suspect charged in Rogers Park hit-and-run

December 23, 2009 (CHICAGO) Thirty-year-old Ralph Eubanks is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.

Police say Eubanks struck and killed 48-year-old Maria Worthon as she was walking in the 7000-block of North Greenview on Monday night.

Eubanks left the scene but was arrested a short time later, about a mile away.

Worthon's son remains in critical condition at Children's Memorial Hospital.
