During the foot chase, police say one of the suspects pointed a gun at officers. The incident took place shortly after two people were shot at a gas station in the same neighborhood.
The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating.

January 14, 2010 (CHICAGO) It happened just before 1 a.m. Thursday on North Karlov near Armitage.
Police say they tried to pull over a car with two suspects inside when they got out of the car and started running.
