Young engineers compete in Chicago competition

Some junior high engineering students were competing in Chicago Saturday to design a city of the future.Teams from around the Midwest showed off their models to a panel of architecture and design judges. The models had to show a design for affordable living space to be used by victims of a disaster or financial emergency.

The first place prize went to the team from St. Paul of the Cross school in Park Ridge, Ill.

Those students will advance to the national competition in Washington DC in February.
