Popular sculpture says goodbye to Michigan Ave.

February 26, 2010 (CHICAGO) The work modeled after the famous American Gothic painting was removed from Pioneer Court late Thursday or early Friday morning.

It will be replaced by another piece of art this summer.

Exhibits usually rotate twice a year, but the 25-ft. sculpture, which is actually called God Bless America, was on display for more than two years because of its popularity.
