Builders of the new Apple store slated to open at North and Clybourn in Chicago are also beautifying an adjoining CTA station.

Scaffolding is up and work crews are making aesthetic improvements to the more than 65 year-old subway station.

A CTA spokesperson calls the changes "community beautification." She said if the CTA starts selling naming rights to stations, Apple would have right of first refusal on that stop.
