SNAP hands out leaflets outside German Consulate

March 13, 2010 (CHICAGO) The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, or SNAP, reacted to alleged church scandals in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.

Also Saturday, the Vatican defended German-born Pope Benedict after revelations that before he became pope, he told bishops to keep abuse cases confidential.

The leaflets handed out sympathize with abuse victims, ask them to speak up, and urge Germany and other countries to investigate alleged clergy abuse and cover-ups.
