A northwest suburban man charged in a crash that killed two British businessmen in Florida will remain in jail without bond.

Ryan LeVin, 35, of Hoffman Estates, is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in the Florida crash. However, a 2006 Illinois parole violation is keeping him in jail.

LeVin was on parole for a 2006 high-speed chase in Chicago that injured a police officer and two others.

Authorities say he owns and was likely driving the same car involved in last year's crash in Fort Lauderdale. LeVin is accused of leaving the scene of that crash.
