A man from Montana is accused of trying to board a plane at O'Hare Airport with a loaded handgun.

Prosecutors say 58-year-old Ronald Peterson was arrested Wednesday after airport screeners saw a Glock 357 semi-automatic gun in his carry-on bag.

Peterson was a ticketed passenger on a United Airlines flight to Bismarck, North Dakota. He had a state of Montana concealed weapon permit in his possession. But he is now charged with two felonies.
