Longtime CPS administrator leaving

A top leader of Chicago Public Schools is leaving her post to become superintendent of the Michigan City, Indiana, district.Chief Education Officer Barbara Eason-Watkins spent 35 years with CPS.

Eason-Watkins told the Chicago Tribune her decision has nothing to do with Ron Huberman being named schools CEO last year. She says she's very interested in the Michigan City area but that her heart is in Chicago as well.
