A postal worker intercepted a really special delivery in Virginia this week.

The package turned up at the post office and started moving.

A live ferret was inside.

The sender included a cage, toys and food for the little animal. The wiggling box was marked for overnight delivery to Puerto Rico.

Postal officials were unable to track down who tried to mail the ferret.

The animal was adopted this week, and was given the name "Stamps."
