Bolingbrook village trustees voted Tuesday night to cut around two dozen public service jobs to help make up for a $3 million budget shortfall.

It was a packed village meeting as concerned residents urged officials to find other ways to fill the budget hole.

Just about every department is impacted, including fire and police departments and public works.

The vote was unanimous.
